Bionic Dolphins

There have been so many event's since the last time my paw touched the computer, that I'm not quiet sure where to start. We just went on the road for a film shoot, and there is always so much to learn out there that sometimes it's a bit scary. We flew into Sacramento on Monday, and drove for a couple hours in a caravan to our location in Redding. Once there we mic'd up the characters and interviewed them on their creation of mechanical dolphin boats. After hours of shooting we settled into our hotel for the night. The next morning we were up and went out to the lake to film the Bionic dolphins in action. One of them didn't start, and caught fire. The second and third worked beautifully. Amber scrambled to take production notes while on a follow boat as we crashed through the currents following the speeding characters. There were ducks I wanted to chase, sun, and beautiful mountains surrounding us. It was a tiring, but blessed day. Amber felt proud that she found this story, and that it will be airing on the Discovery channel soon. It turned dark and we headed back to our room where we tucked in and watched our creation on Wreckreation Nation. What a cool job (other than dealing with the all male crew) this is. It is very humbling and fills me with gratitude everytime my nose itches with discontent. Life is what we make of it. Like the dolphins, we jump in and out of hoops, and sometimes we land on our sides, but we are capable of doing it right, and by trying and trying to do it well, our life becomes magical.
