A leash
Yesterday was the last day of work for my human Amber, and we were both glad that the break was here. Amber's gorgeous friend Ben came over and cooked us dinner, and we went upstairs to Angies for dessert and then to game night with Margo and Jeff for alot more chocolate, snacks, and ice cream. It was a full day in every way. My favorite part of the day is the walk Amber took me and Jillian on. Walking on a leash is my new favorite prozac, and I can't wait to go again today. Her friend Katia suggested we walk every day, and I could lick Katia G. all over for making that part of our routine. We are feeling healthier, and happier each new day. Amber gained quite few pounds in her last relationship, as Brian lost a few pounds. Lucky guy. Women seem to pad around the middle when they are unhappy, and men get to lose. It's so unfair, but now Amber is working it off again in a healthy way.
Amber is going vintage shopping today with Angie, and loves the old clothing she finds in stores. She is dressing me and Jillian in our finest sweaters today to keep the chill off. Our new routines, and getting out of the house to actually live is something that makes us feel a brisk new meaning to life.
Our leash goes both ways. Amber is in charge of us as we walk, but we are the ones guided towards happiness. Amber is doing the same thing by turning her own life walk over, and letting God and her sponsors direct her walk.
Amber has to focus on the things she loves and A few of Amber's favorite things are:
Seeing Allie smile, first bite of Mortons tuna tartare, her moccossin high heels, mascara, art at the getty center, the smell of a saddle, coffee on a rainy morning, The hollywood sign, getting her nails done, Thai massages, hand massages (Brian was great at that) a full fridge of food, drumming circles, gardens of flowers, sushi, good will, paint and an empty canvas, Victoria Secret lingerie, stamps and envelopes, acting class, pillows, the ocean, a new c.d. turned up loud (thanks ben for making her a mixed c.d. yesterday) photographs...and oh the list goes on....
wuff..xoxo
I fell asleep curled up with my human, and snoozed all night.
