fun

"The Path that is best for you is the Path that keeps the best of you in play"

Amber and I woke up today to the most gorgeous weather here in Los Angeles. The sun is peeking out beneath clouds, and it’s a great start to a wonderful day. I took my stuffed animal and ran up and down the hall with it with Jillian dog chasing close behind, and Tiffany the cat looking on at us like we are crazy clowns. It is so refreshing to play and there are all sorts of ways to do it. Sometimes Amber forgets to stop and play because of her responsibilities and life managements. One of her favorite play times is filmmaking.

She is looking forward to a movie she finished with Ron Jeremy. Yes, RJ is a pornographer but this movie that Amber did with him is not rated x. It’s a horror film with all the essentials any B horror film has. Amber screams like a horror queen when she is killed wearing the highest heels possible, and before her death in the woods (of course) she is an air-headed stripper girl with a lot of funny lines. It was a lot of fun for her to do..and taking on different characters for film is a great time of play for Amber.

All adults are really is a bunch of young children carrying world responsibilities. Amber has an amazing job where she works in television production. Her job consists of coming up with new and funny ideas to shoot. It’s a wonderful job, and only a few people get the luxury of doing it. It’s a godshot that Amber is involved and doing well at it so far (since June).

Amber works with the gorgeous and talented Erin Affourtit. She is a light in the office and always wears the cutest of outfits. She is a true child of God and reflects on him daily. She put’s in reservations every day for the biggest celebrity of all to visit us at the office, and that is God. She is on his VIP list and Amber loves the flashing lights and love he gives when he shows up. Erin is in tight with the guy, and Amber is getting to know him better as a result of Erin’s relationship with him. Erin talks to God every single day and is teaching Amber how to bond better with him. She also has the cutest of dogs, next to me of course. Yes…I am a very conceited doggie some days.

Today Pocketbike racing is the main study of Ambers day. She just turned in Camel Ski-joring to the network, and is looking into soap-box ice racing. This job is full of fun ideas and different things to do, but we have to look for the fun instead of focusing on the bad.

It’s hard to have a day go by without pondering on Amy’s death, and feeling a sadness. Amber is a producer on another film and would like to honor Amy by putting “In Rememberance of Amy Sanborne” at the end of the film credits. This will cost about 300. to do with editors making a special add with photo… and when Amber asked a friend if he wanted to contribute and split the cost he came up with every excuse not too. He said she is “resting in peace” and that her own family isn’t even doing that. Her own family was in conflict with her during life. I had to burrow under a blanket and growl when Amber received the text from a self proclaimed “friend” saying he wasn’t going to do it. Some people want all the credit but when it comes to any REAL contribution outside of themselves, they hold their wallets tight, and still maintain that they “were there” for her. It’s giving where you receive nothing back in return that makes a real friend. He received entertainment and fun when he shared hotel rooms and Vegas shows with Amy, but now she is no longer here he grips his wallet with white knuckles. Being there for someone means doing things outside of your own needs, and giving. You can do this by honoring them in death, and celebrating them in life. If he would have sent flowers to the family when they were here, that would have been a nice gesture. The thing some people don’t understand that by giving to others, we are truly giving to ourselves more than we could ever imagine.

150.

Is about the same cost as a proper flower memorial, so it seemed outrageous that giving was even an issue to be argued with. Amber understood more the dynamics of what Amy was really dealing with in that friendship. Maybe he will change his mind, maybe he wont. But the truth is that selfless giving makes a better human being.
So today I am going to give to myself and roll the ball around the yard with a wagging tail. Amber is going to keep creating fun ideas for her television show and looks forward to the screening of her horror flick screening next week.

Amber met up with the lovely Weronika in the valley last night with a few friends. Weronika is new to the city of angels, and introductions to other ladies is important so that she can build up roots. It was a very surreal moment for Amber when she realized that her big huge jealousy bug had been put to rest and that a real friendship is right in front of her. Amber’s primary purpose in life is to help others…and the blessings and help she herself received from Greg B. (Weronika’s boyfriend) did wonders for her life. Now if we could only get Greg to go out and play more. He is so damn serious. Fuck*ng poets.

Laugh out loud, pick your nose, scratch your bottoms and enjoy some play in whatever form suits you best. Lights, camera, action…..
