Prince Charming.
Why is every romantic comedy about lonely women who would love to meet "some great guy" and why do you feel even lonelier than the rest of the dateless, boyfriend-less women in L.A.....and why is it so easy for humans and doggies to feel like they are the only ones that will be alone.......forever.......for the rest of this dog-gone life? Amber is the kind of gal that will bang her head on the same spot forever, and when the banging stops she feels she is the only one that isn't getting a good bang? This doggie is confused and heartbroken and lonely in the romance department. It's way past time for a real man to step in and show Amber she doesn't have to carry the load alone. In the meantime she will write more romantic comedys, and continue to torture herself with the dream of something bigger and better....
So how many frogs does Amber have to kiss in order to find Mr.Right? And why can't the frog just learn how to be a prince...even when we give them the directions on how to do it...customizing just right fit for our lives.
Amber's first play was Cinderella and in it she sat in rags and sang for her prince to come. She wasn't ready for him at the time because the wicked stepmother was not pretend at that time, but a reality in the form of something fierce...an addiction. Now Amber has moved from that world, and wants to wake up with a husband and a family. Maybe it is all just a fairytale.
The truth is that even the stunning Prince Charming was a polygamist. Saving every girl with a "Happily Ever After." Snow White, Rupunzal, Cinderella....aren't they all with that same guy? I wonder where the castle bedrooms end and the romance begins? At least they had one good dance that was just theirs.
