Love is a wonderful to experience in life. There are all kinds of love out there. The culture humans and doggies live in makes it feel like people have to be a certain way in order to love. I believe that simply isn't true. Amber has alot of people she loves in her life, and the way she loves each of them is different. There are high expectations with some, which Amber works on her part, and there are low expectations and simplicity with others.

Amber wonders why she is her age and not married. Time has flown by so fast, and her teenaged dreams of a big wedding with a lovely gown and her father giving her away seemed to have fallen by the wayside. There are many days when Amber feels like Bridget Jones without the happy ending. Although she has alot of love in her life, the one love hasn't come yet. The closest thing to it is now her best friend Greg, and he set the bar incredibly high for those that follow. Greg has a new gorgeous gal in his life Weronika, and no matter what the outcome with the lovebirds, Amber is glad to have made a new friend out of it. Letting go of selfish feelings takes practice but the outcome is always better. So as Ambers best friend and cuddler I have to let her know she is worth the wait, and Mr. RIght will come.
And now to answer a few questions about Brian. Amber loves Brian and always will. He has proven himself a key part of Ambers life. He cuddles with me until my nose is wet and my tail wags, and has stepped up to the best of his abilitys as a friend. There are so many kinds of love and the love Amber and I have for Brian won't be wiped away just because they aren't soulmates. Brian deserves someone wonderful and we know he will find that perfect fit. Now..to practice not being jealous when his dating begins........practice, breath, and let go. Tough.

So love your lovers, hug your friends, and brag about your children. This life is a wonderful thing when we look for the good in it rather than staying stuck on the past.
